Rear Calipers - $201.86?
I was quoted $201.86 for two rear calipers with pads for my 89 pontiac ws6 formula.
Can anyone get them cheaper somewhere else? Like most people, im on a budget, and rent was just paid, so money is low. I'll even throw in as much as i can ( $20-$40 ) extra for the person who can get them both for under $140 if its possible. I know some of you guys work at parts stores.
But my rear end is leaking like a b.tch. I already bought a new seal and plan to replace it, but i need rear calipers as well, among other things, but im working on it little by little.

As far as i know, they havent been replaced in years. My right rear seal is leaking and has put gunk all over the rotor, so i might as well replace both because i believe its been more then 50,000 miles since those have been changed. This car has spent most of its life sitting before i bought it. The whole rear end needs to be redone before it locks up on me one day.

I work on cars everyday. I am a professional technician. Why did you ask for a cheaper part when you dont wanna pay for a high price item. You get what you pay for. I have remanufactured calipers on my car. I have not had any problems with them. If I did have a problem then at least they have a lifetime warranty. I have had them on the car for two sets of pad so no problems yet? If you dont want the remans, then buy them new.

i already bought them brand new. had no choice. and the high doller items dont always work the best. it is true you get what you pay for, but ive had some cheaper parts at little known shops outlive over twice the lifespan of some parts on my car.
