Parking tickets at a University

you cant graduate now! lol, my friend's dad got one and the university cross-traced it through dps to his son and now my friend has to pay it or he cant register for classes

yea, TAMU ****'s are bad, i have one that is being sent to the bursar, and i can't reg for classes for next semester until i pay for the ticket. but i might switch majors so its not a biggy. if you played sports they would eventually catch up with you.

I've gotten a couple of tickets at community college and university campuses. I wasn't able to register my car without paying it. The company that handles the tickets and fines for the college processes them to the DMV if it isn't paid. There was no way around it for me.

when i would go up and visit at A&M i got a few and just tossed them. I enrolled at the school my sophomore year in college, but never had any problems. i know i got tickets in the 94 because i got it at the beginning of my freshman year in college. nothing ever happened.
i heard that some people have gotten things like a parking ticket for parking on the grass by the actual city police (not university) a few years ago but nothing has ever happened with those instances. i'm not sure if it goes on a record, but they said it's been a couple years with no warrents, letters in the mail, or anything.
if you get a ticket from the campus police while you're a student you will definitely have problems. they will put a block on your registration or graduation.

i probably got about 15-20 at texas tech(not exaggerating.)my friend said it wasnt a big deal. about a yr ago, I went to go talk to them to see if i could get them dismissed bc i wasnt a student there. No dice. They took 2 off and erased all the late fees. woopdeedoo. I owe them a few hundred $.
