Lesson 1:
GB = Gigabyte
1024 Megabytes in a Gig(abyte)
MB = Megabyte
~1 million (1,024,000) bytes in a megabyte
1024 bytes in a Kilobyte
8 bits in a byte
a "bit" is a "binary digit", either a "1" or a "0".
"1024" because it is a multiple of "256" (why 256 in lesson 2)
MHz = Megahertz
Mega = 1 million
Hz = cycle in alternating current
1.6 Megahertz = ~1,600,000 cycles per second (clock cycles)
Now does your head hurt?
