ALWAYS REMEMBER!

"You have the right to remain silent. If you give up that right, anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law."

Admitting to it just hung you. Good luck. You will need a good attourney.

i have been through this for the past 2 years... im currently on probation for evading w/ motor vehicle... its a state jail felony, the racing charge is a class A misdemeanor if im not mistaken. get a good lawyer dude, your life is about to get fuked up for a while, and forget getting a decent job.

if i were you work out some kind of deal where they will drop the evading charge to a class b misdemeanor (evadign on foot) and take a plea, forget a trial, the judge will screw you, and i doubt you will be let off.

get the best lawyer you can afford. the cop cannot put you in the car, so **** 'em.

P.S. keep your mouth SHUT, and get the best criminal lawyer you can afford even if you have to borrow the money.

**** like this on your record WILL follow you for the rest of your life, so fight it like a cornered cat.

good luck!

get a lawyer speeking as an insurance agent you have no idea what felony evading will cost you on insurance. that is almost worse than a dui. if you only admitted that you were out driving then you are not hung. but if you admitted being the one she was looking for and that you were out on that road driving and passed her you could be ok. if she simply asked who was driving and you said i was that could mean anything. but if it was spacific as to where and when you are screwed. so having a racing charge and an evading the police charge on your record will hit you for atleast 5 years on your insurance. you might as well get a bicycle.

it was not my house plus there was a car in the driveway in front of the garage door. I talked to an attorney and it seems like it is not going to be as bad as i thought.

how is that? pm me dude... a lawyer can tell you bullsh1t all day to get your money...

ive had almost everything that could possibly go wrong happen to me during my court precedings....

pay a lawyer 5000.00 to go to trial, he gets disbarred, lose all my money, have to settle for court appointed lawyer cause i can afford another one, having a lying piece of **** cop, write a bunch of bullsh1t in his statement, that made it worse, having to drug test every week for 1.5 years (on pretrial) and having to drive downtown every fukn week, and pay for parking, and take massive amount of time out of my life.... **** sucks...

if your near or around houston contact:
Fred Dahr, out of Bires & Schaffer.
hes highly recommended, and wont assrape you on cost. ill try to find his #

Say what? Somebody lied to you; eluding arrest while operating a motor vehicle is only a misdemeanor (even if you're drunk and/or recklessly place others in danger): Source.

kinda off topic but in that section it says
"The officer's vehicle must be appropriately marked as an official police vehicle."
What are the rules for an official police vehicle?
