Just saw Miami Vice
Howdy...just got back from a midnight showing of miami vice and i must say, i thought it was awesome and actually somewhat realistic unlike these shootem up movies. If you are lookin for an actionpacked movie, skip it. If you are lookin fora semirealistic undercover cop movie, check it out. The couple gunfights are awesome and show only a few rounds being fired and not tons and tons. It was different from what I was expecting, but i want to be a federal law enforcement officer, so i enjoyed it.

It had a F430, Bentley continental, SRT8 Charger and a M6. Movie was ok but i really expected better. Most of the movie seemed out of focus and the camerawork seemed more like it was trying to be a docu-drama type film. Overall it was not bad and has a few shining moments but only a few in my opinion. I would wait for DVD on it and rent it or catch it at the dollar theater...I wish i had.

I want to see it just for the Charger (<< I'm biased now)
There is also a 300C SRT8 that get's shot up and a Ram SRT10 that they use as a battering ram
I may wait till it hits DVD but who knows

Come on.. they didn't even use the Miami Vice theme song... the guy that did the movie supposedly was trying to break away from the stigma of MV the show. WTF?? Then why make a movie called.. are you ready for this???.... MIAMI VICE?!?!?!
I heard it was nothing like the show, the characters were nothing like the show, nothing even remotely recognizable as Miami in there, the aforementioned music. *shrug* I'll wait till it's available to rent.

it actually was similar to the show in the concept that it was more like a drama than action movie and it showed what cops do in real life...at least, it more believable
