Talking H/C/C Project complete: Thanks Chris Crawford(BBADWS6) and G-FORCE!!

I finally had the chance to start a project on it with the money I was making. This project has been thought about and planned for probably around 6-7 months. We were originally going to go with a 226/228 with a .581 .587 on a 112. After much debate with each other I was very impulsive and got the Torquer V2 cam from TSP with a 112+2 LSA. After that I said why not go ahead and get some new heads, I didn’t have the money for some nice Stage 2 5.3's so I got some Cast LS6 heads for 500 shipped. Anyways Chris Crawford(BBadWS6), and I tackled a heads, cam, and clutch proj. in a weekend, which impressed the both of us. We ran into some problems like a stripped rocker arm bolt which had to be grinded off (pics below), a mysterious fuel leak, and broken heat sensor. I was satisfied with the install and brought a smile to my face when we cranked her up! Chris is one of my good friends and knows his stuff very well, his work is very detailed and thorough. Chris just want to say thanks for everything and that all the thought and hard work payed off..... and yes this car is one of your "offspring" now, lol.

Also just wanted to say thanks to G-Force Motorsports for all their help, and friendly service. Mike, your a badass tuner and a real friendly guy. Ben your a badass for putting up with all my phonecalls, lol. I looked around the shop quite a bit and thought to myself, "Damn! They do some bad *** work here! "Anyways the first time we put it on the dyno it would lose power at around 4500K resulting in a net 314 rwhp! Anyways Mike and Jay (who is one of the technician’s there/real nice guy) took a look at it and told me immediately that my plugs and wires needed to be replaced along with my MAF. I went home changed the bad parts out and resulted with a SAE corrected 393rwhp/383rwtq ! and that’s with a stock LS1 intake, and stock pulley!

I will always give my business to G-Force any day!

Thanks Guys!

and now for the pictures.......

SAE

STD

Thanks!

Travis

Thanks Guys! I was thinking about my numbers, that they might be low, but all i need is a pulley, LS6 intake, ported TB and ported MAF, and lid thats better than my black wing i think 415-420 is maybe obtainable will see I have a hole in my wallet right now.

Im not complaining i have a real flat torque line and plus rather hard but ever since this phg. My o2's go out like no other. I think My ORY pipe fouls them up easily...So know I have a code for insufficient switching..

p.s. we also found three bent pushrods during the install...and they were REALLY bent(almost a 20* bend)

Thats awsome, I have the same mods as you and was tuned at G Force as well, I cant wait to do the ls6 and pulley, but I just bought a twin nozzle kit and will most likely be installing it 1st, nice car and nice numbers. But im on stock ls1 heads too.
