Just Got Some Fuzions
my old tires were bald so it was time for new tires i wanted to buy some fuzion zri tires so i went to fire stone by my house, they wanted 740 with a one time balance. i went to another firestone they wanted 720 tires only with no road hazard warranty. i then went to discount and the guy said 575 for tires with warranty. that was a good price but they were khumo tires, and ive never heard of that brand so i went to 1 final firestone, and the guy gave me the tires with a road hazard, balnce and rotate guarantee and a lifetime alignment for the car, for 700. so i jumped on that. tires handle very nice, hook up pretty nicely, i think i like those better than the yokohamas that were on there. i highly recomend these tires, and if ur looking for a place to get tires, check out the firestone off of edgebrook, their prices r cheap

Should have asked about the wideovals while you were at FS. Been reading good things about them.
I've stopped buying tires from local places. I found that I consistantly save at least $100 by buying online and thats including shipping and mounting/balancing.
But!!!! The ZRi from the Rack are ~550 shipped for all 4 ($122 ea for 275-40-17 and ~$60 shipping) . Add another $50 for mounting and balancing plus he got a lifetime alignment which is over $100 IIRC and a road hazard warranty which is another ~$60 from T-Rack and he didn't do bad with his Firestone deal.

I paid 400 for my ZRi's from firestone, but thats b/c we have a national contract there. And i only bought them b/c at the time of needing tires i had little to no money. I'm not a huge fan of them(ZRi's), would of rather went with some KDW's if i would of waited another month.

712's suck, dont let a shitty tire ruine the brand for you, i have the ASX and love it, hooks great. The SPT is spposed to be a great tire. but the 712 jsut sucks. they last a long time but dont hook for ****

I loved the KDWs I had. Great dry traction (even with the 408 and only 275s out back) and excellent wet traction. Got 40k out of the back tires. the fronts went at 30 (bad alignment).
Once again, a contact would be great.

I had a set of ZRi's on the Formula, wasn't impressed at all. I have another set on the Mustang right now, not impressed on that car either -- but hey, they were all cheap
Oddly enough, the best tire I've bought in a while, is also the absolute cheapest. Kumho Ecsta 711's for the GTO (no, not 712's, those blow). MUCH better in EVERY aspect than the BFG KDWS they replaced.

Yep had Kuhmo's on the Z06, like the tire and wore pretty good. One of the best cheap tires around. Almost time for me some new tires and have been shopping around, either it will be Kuhmos or Faulkens.
