Nitrous DYNO #'s: 113 degree shop temp pulled 496/513.
Well.... I was aching to get dyno'd before sprayin the **** out of the car at Ennis..... Went to get the bottle filled and USA in Pantego was doin dynos for cheap.
Hot as fud there............ car lost a few from the dyno at SQR. Put down 384 whp and 375 rwtq on motor. on the bottle it did 496 and 513 corrected. I think the heat may be to blame for me being under 500 lol
I am thinking that if i dyno in 70 degree temps i will pull 505/525 or so after i get tuned up.
on motor the A/F was 13:1 like a flatline in the ER!
On nitrous with the pills that are in it it did 10:1..... a little rich... I have two choices...... get a smaller fuel pill ....or get a larger nitrous pill .....
I am very pleased with the Speed Density tune from Daniel and Scott at SQR...... to get 13:1 like that in 113 degree heat is awesome! I need to see if I can get Scott to add one more degree of timing and also change the tune for the new thermostat i instaled. Do you think it is wise to change the A/F on motor to compensate for the rich condition on nitrous?

125 zex which is rated at the motor. so basically it is a 110shot.... and you are right.... it runs good the 1st 8th mile... then slows a bit up top on the second.... I think a set of gears and ported heads are in order.

i'm sure those were the corrected #'s.
If they were the corrected #'s, i dont know why he's talking about "113 degree shop temp"
i guess to make him self feel better that it made little power.

those were corrected.... and the power is right on for what is done..... you guys and your stupid i got 10 from my exhaust.... i got 8 bull ****.
t
and yes... the heat effects the incomming air temp on the motor... with a sd tune the car doesnt properly compensate for the heat...... so in cooler weather I should get a few more on the dyno. hense why it dynod better at SQR with no true duals and without the lightweight clutch/flywheel setup.
If i up the nitrous pill to go from 10:1 to 12:1...... lean it out a bit I gaurantee i can put down 525/535!!! I need to get a fuel pump..... atleast my nitrous setup aint blowin motors!! yet lol

in cooler weather the computer wouldnt compensate as much on the dyno#'s. so it would still be around the same.
thats the whole point of SAE corrected #'s, you can dyno in 100degree weather or 60degree weather and the corrected #'s would be around the same.

I RAN 11.7 at 120mph...... only 7.6 8th mile.
my best 8th was a 7.5 and best 1/4 mph was 121........ 60ft improved to a 1.8something now...... I think the best the car can likely do is a 11.5 or 11.6 in good weather with me driving...... need more mods to go faster. Like a 12 bolt, or heads, or pill it up a bit..... or all the above

we are not talking about how the dyno works... I understand correction factors.... what I am saying is the car has more power at the temp it was tuned at........ 85ish.... a speed density car has no corrections in the engine for the air temp like a maf based car... it is tuned on a predetermined volumetric efficiency.... so yes... it will have more power in better temps. ya follow me here?
