there is one on HWY 26 behind the dollar theater, not sure of the name. There is also SpeedZone off Northwest HWY. they have games, go-cart and drag racing.

Ive heared that there is a pretty hardcore go-cart track behind the denton dragway. Carts go about 70, and I think its like a 2 mile track or something like that. It costs like 250-300 I believe. Depends on what you want. Here is a link to their site http://www.ntkarters.com/

I will second the SpeedZone. They have video games, Drag Cars, a Turbo Track, A slick track, and some other track. Lots of fun. And across the street the have bungee jumping, one those three story swings and other crazy stuff.

i've only been to speedzone so far. the slick track is the best IMO. the drag racing is cool the first time you do it. the cars use 300hp SBC motors. its like $12 for 3 passes down a track that is like 30 yards, so i'd take a real track with a real car anyday... but it might be neat for the kids.

speedzone in dallas also has mini golf.

speedzone by far is the best recreational track in the area for the person that wants to just have fun on a saturday night.

There is an actual go-kart race track in denton.....but its more of a money commitment and time commitment. here's the website anyway www.ntkarters.com

Speedzone is awesome for just recreational fun but NTK is an awesome track, but it's for racekarts. They probably have rental stuff but it's a lot more expensive and involved than just showing up like at speedzone.

The track layout will allow you to just touch 100mph, if you set up the previous couple corners to the long straight just right.
