Dyno video and new numbers
Video:
You will see in the video white smoke coming out of the passenger side "muffler".
- The turbo seal is not working after 200 miles worth of "soft" driving and now has to be replaced. Oil is collecting into the muffler tip and causing it to smoke fairly bad.
- The car is also running extremely rich up top, which surprises the hell out of me. I would have thought the fuel system I have on here wouldn't have held up to 900rwhp, but It looks like it still has more to go...
Just a few hours worth of tweaking and we gained
42rwhp - Peak from 850rwhp to 892rwhp
130rwhp - @ 4500rpm's from 600rwhp to 730rwhp
No question there is still a lot more in this car, but the next question is can the STS turbo's handle it...
I feel I am going to have to upgrade to the GARRETT GT35R turbo's if the "seal" continues to be a problem.
As far as I know this is the highest horsepowered STS car right now, I don't mind pushing the envelope but I just hope the damn "STS Turbo's" holds up.
I am anxious to see how it does at the track wed. if all goes well!
Graph:
You can see where the car begins to get rich at higher RPM's.
Hopefully we fix this problems soon, Jayson (MTI) is going to work on it more tomorrow.
As always I will keep you guys posted on the progress.
Cheers

.....
heheheh thats wrong tony..... I wonder though I know there were some issues with the oiling system that came with STS kits. So I do question wether its the oiling system or the seal in the turbo which initially caused the problem. They may have fixed this Im really not sure I have not kept up to much with sts kits. Well either way I guess its time to replace the seal now.
Anyhow Good luck with the race.
