Car antenna HELP

Car antenna HELP The radio antenna on my 00 T/A stopped working and does not go down anymore when the radio is turned off. I can still hear the motor working so iam thinking that the antenna may be off track and just aligned back in place. has anyone else had this problem and can this be fixed easily with common work tools. Any input would help thanks 
there's a plastic cable with teeth that comes out of the end of the antenna and feeds into the motor, it may have come out to far and now the gear of the motor isn't contacting it anymore. You might try getting someone to put LIGHT pressure on it while you turn the radio off and see if the motor will pull it back down. I unplugged mine and leave it down 24/7 cause i never really listen to the radio and it looks like *** when its up IMO

you will have to replace the antenna,not the whole motor. I had the same problem a couple weeks ago and it was b/c my mast was bent. There is no way the white teeth are not making contact, they plastic cable is extremely long it is either broken or bent, but as long as you can still hear your motor working you can just order a new mast for pretty cheap(like I did) and you should be able to fix it in about 20 min

Were you at 24 hour fitness Willowbrook during lunch today? That was my Formula parked close to you.
By the way I have the same problem with my antenna.
