I think Rumsfeld should still be in office, too bad he steped down.

I also think Gates is well qualified for the position, and will make some very important decisions in the next couple years.

I think Rumsfeld should still be in office, but I am still in the army. I have been deployed, and he took good care of us.

You know, I don't know a lot about that. However, I do know that he set up secret prisons and violated the geneva convention...which protected my Grand Father and my Father when they fought in WW2 (Army Air Core) and Korea/Vietnam (Marines) (respectively) so...I'm not a fan of the man. However, in the larger scheme of things....it's going to be a political blood bath over the next 2 years.

You know, I don't know a lot about that. However, I do know that he set up secret prisons and violated the geneva convention by authorizing torture and the geneva convention proteced my Father in Korea and Vietnam, now my Grand Father Novinger fought in WWII but the 'geneva convention' was developed afterwards...however when he was shot down over Berlin he was treated like a HUMAN BEING. I appreciate you and support you and wish you all the best more then you know (family ties, i'm sure you understand)

Truthfully, I doubt much will happen in the next 2 years. The house is now Dem controlled, but its by such a small margin that nothing extrodinary is going to happen. There may be some small terrorism rulings, and something on immigration but I dounbt anything radical will happen.

In 08 when we have a Dem president, thats when **** is going to hit the fan!

HEHEHEHE

Honestly, I can't wait for the day. My GrandFather is a O.D. (farm doctor) a WWII Vet and a great man. He's been around the sun about 90 times and he's told me recently that he's never been more disapointed in our Government then he is right now. He thinks we're as close to being a Facist nation as you can get with out being Facist. He's well read, well educated and well spoken. I agree with him from my limited scope. Looking forward to a change in 08. Just wish the Democratic party or the Independent party would get their crap together and give me something to vote for, but I'd vote for McCain in a heart beat, he's got his **** straight.

You love what? High oil prices and low stock prices? Because that's what happens with instability.
