I have a couple...2004 YFZ-450R full moto-x quad and a 2003 Polaris Predator 500 with all basic bolt ons.
I might consider parting with the Polaris if you're interested.
Don't get me wrong, the Honda TRX-450R is a very nice quad too!

It all depends on what kind of riding your into.. I live about 4 miles from Shiloh ridge ATV park in Alto and have seen every type of four wheeler in action. If your going to be in the dirt, speed, pastures, and smooth to med. level trails than a sport style atv is the way, but get one with reverse. Now if you want speed, mudd, extreme trails and Hills than go with the Polaris 800 Sportsman EFI, or the Kawasaki Brute Force, both are great.

Requiring reverse is like requiring cruise control!

the kawasaki is a screamin bike but so are the suzuki Z, honda 450R, and yamaha's banshee and raptor 660 of course. i have a old 92 honda 250X (basically a 4-stroke 250R) and its still on the original clutch somehow...only major work has been a new rear end and it has seen some ****, only rolled twice but still...hondas last forever!

Banshee is old news bro, too much labor involved with rebuilding top ends every 20 hrs or so.
Plus, wtf is a powerband?
My bike runs laps around MANY Banshee's on the dirt.
Now if you want a DR'ing quad, go with the Banshee, plus they are CHEAP!

This is my quad before I got a hold of it and the continuation of mods began...

Get a 4-stroke, and something that handles well. Don't get something with 700cc's that handles like a tank. I want a new Honda 450 myself.

BTW - Reverse isn't needed, just do a ****** donut.

Here's one of the things I sold to get the Z, man I miss it sometimes.

But, when you have to get off and pull and push over and over again just to get it turned around. That **** gets old.... Of course that will only be a factor on the trails.

I like the Polaris Sportsman series for sure, I have a
Sportsman 700 and a Sportsman 500 and I like them
both. Very good all around 4-wheeler for any occasion.

King dick?
Have you ever watched motocross or rode a 450 4-stroke?

You obviously have a different opinion of maintenance on a quad.
I bet you also don't change the oil every time you ride too.
Then again, maybe I'm just over precautionary.
