Default Numbers in Houston

No, not phone numbers. The club on Westheimer. Anyone ever been? How did you like it? Basically looking for a club that we can bring our 19 year old room mate to. We're in Katy if it makes a difference.

Oh yeah, I also have amountain bike for sale. Huffy Blades. Mechanically sound, but needs new inner tubes. Hardly ever ridden. $50 negotiable.

Hmmm, okay. Thanks for the heads-up. Apparently the crew already got the ball rolling on Numbers, so I've no choice but to check it out. Where would you guys suggest?

DON'T EVER, EVER, EVER GO AGAIN unless you like looking at:
A) Old men in black leather thongs and chokers bending random women over a pool table.
B) Goths and Emos... lots of them.
C) Said goth in a gas mask running around with his middle fingers in the air.
D) Men in dresses.
E) Shittiest/loudest music and dance moves this side of Madagascar.
F) Black transvestites walking the streets.

Jesus, that place was a ******* joke last night. I guess if you're emo or goth and fucked up on X, that's a cool place. But I'd rather spend time at a slightly more "upscale" venue.

Oh yeah, I knew I was in for it when I walked to the bar, got a beer, turned around, and some old bitch was flashing her really very awful looking ****.

Damn, I wish I logged on last night and saw your post. I would have told you to STAY AWAY. There is a reason why they call it "Scumbers". Haven't been in a long time but, it looks as it hasn't changed. Last time I was there, I was walkin out with a group of friends and some scarry little goth kid jumps out and bit another guy walkin out with us. Sorry you had to learn the hard way.

It's all good. Where's a good place to go?
We drove by Roxy's behind the Galleria and decided we weren't black or hispanic enough to get in. Probably woulda been fine but it was overly crowded and had no place to park.
Last night was a total ******* loss. Ended up at Slick ******* on Westheimer, which was half-assed at best. The bartending was first rate, but nothing else was. I'll stick to my Slick ******* here in Katy.
Anyone ever been to Mo's in Katy? That place worth a damn?

im a pub/sports bar type of guy. i suggest the tavern in midtown, grey n waugh. i hear the roof bar down there is awesome too, i think were gonna check it out tonight for my bday. but it might be too cold for the ladies. fox n hound is a cool bar, sams boat, mollys. theres lots of good establishments, depends on what atmosphere you like. anywhere that is low key and has real dart boards is good on my list.

Roof is tight...I went there last weekend for the first time. If you are in that part of town check out whiskey creek or tipsey clover. Lots of ladies, cool atmosphere, no bullshit.

Back on topic though, sounds like you need a place for 18 and up...can't really help you out with that....

Wish I would have saw this last night too - I could have warned you about that.

I've never been there, but I had heard it was cool (from someone I didn't know too well) so I told my buddy about it and he went and saw what you saw!!

Sorry you had to experience that. I'm sure there are places worth visiting, but that is definitely not the place!

Yeah, like I said, it's a lesson learned.
I'm 22, so I don't require a younger establishment, I was trying to do some friends a favor. Screw that, lol.

I'm gonna make a list of some of the places you guys mentioned. I like low key spots as well, maybe just a little on the middle class to classy side.
