Clean 98 Trans Am for sale. SOLD!
SOLD!!!
I've decided to put my TA up for sale. I really hate to do it but i think it's time for something different. It's a 98 White Trans Am, 77k miles on the clock, only 4k on the motor which is forged and balanced. The tranny was just rebuilt (not full rebuild but anything that needed replacing was replaced) the rearend just got new gears and ALL new bearing and seals and the Eaton posi unit has around 1k miles on it. It has the factory Monsoon CD player up front PLUS a factory 12 disk CD changer in the back. As far as mods go: Ballanced and forged 347, FLP LT’s, X-pipe True Duals, SLP Lid, LS6 intake, S3 Ported TB, TSP MS3 - 237/242 .603/.609 112LSA, PRC .660 lift springs, ported oil pump, Double roller timing chain, Aluminum flywheel, Spec S2, TDP Trans rebuild, B&M Ripper, SFCs, LGM LCAs, BMR PHB, G2 Torque Arm, G2 springs/Bilstein, 17in up front/18 out back TTII's, Eaton HD Posi, 3.73's, drilled/slotted rotors, Raptor hood, the car is lowered 1.5 inches.
Click below for a video (right before i got true duals, it's open y-pipe, no muffler)

The guy that runs the place, Steve, is a 35 anniversary Camaro owner.
AM&S in FW specializes in aluminum blocks with steel sleeves. Been doing it for 20+ years. Motor was assembled there and built to withstand the abuses of long periods of mid-high RPMs (4500 - 6200).
ARP fastners throughout, heads and mains were studded.
Rotating assembly (Fluidampner through clutch assembly) was meticulously balanced.
All the best stuff was shoved into this bottom end because I absolutely hate working on cars. I prefer to drive them. So it was built for durability at the cost of maximum performance. It might not make peak numbers that some do, but it will generate solid, respectable numbers all day long and crank right up the next day for another go.
I wouldn't have sold it to Tim except I just didn't have the time to deal with it any longer. Our little "speed shop", regular work and my racing just doesn't allow time for a play thing like this.
