So yeah my little bother just got a 99 firebird 5 spd, pretty nice only 66k miles and clean as ****. But he wants exhaust for it but its hard to find one that doesnt sound ricey. If anyone could chime in and let me know what sounds good on a V6 that would be great.
Thanks
Jon

Get the stock exhaust off of a SS or WS-6
You should be able to get it for $75-$100,
it will sound better, you'll like it.
Get a Panel K&N drop in, for $40ish.
and be done with it!
I speak from experience, I had a 98 Firebird V6 for a while, and so did one of my best friends, we both did this and were extremely happy with it.
You can even just get the stock exhaust off a V8 Formula or Trans Am, sometimes for free, or real cheap.

I first had a Flowmaster 80 on mine and it sounded like a civic on crack. I sold it within a month and put a TSP Rumbler on and im loving it, Its real deep and loud very little rasp. If you dont want loud go with a Magnaflow.
I have a couple vids on my Fquick if youd like to hear it.
