Must be end of a financial period for HPD
...because they are all over the galleria area today looking for stickers.
I saw a pair of marked cars with uniforms on foot looking at stickers at every major intersection on Woodway west of 610 this morning, all the way to Voss. It was a nightmare.
Knowing is half the battle...

Some people (various other threads) are a bit more invested, so to speak, in not having current stickers, so I thought I would let them know.
Thanks for the advice though, I will look into it after I track down this exhaust leak.

I got pulled over twice on Saturday, less than an hour apart. One HPD, one Harris Constable. Both ran my truck plates and said my registration was expired. Stupid TX DOT computer still had my 2004 truck listed with my personalized plates, even though I have a new sticker and receipt for the 2006 truck. What a f-kin hassle.
BTW, the HPD cop was VERY rude and treated me like a criminal. The constable was very friendly and polite. Once they ran the VIN# for the truck, they found it was clear. No tickets. I'm guessing there is a mega crackdown on stickers this week?

Venkman! Crack dealers are easy to catch, just wait till they release an album
BTW, the HPD cop was VERY rude and treated me like a criminal.
Thats kinda weird that you would get bad treatment, your not really a young kid in a hot rod or any thing like that

Sorry, I should have specified the *other* HPD.
BTW, I passed seven stationary crusiers this morning, and seven plus speed traps on Richmond yesterday evening. Craziness.

It's a political thing..... you blame the cops but it's the Mayor you guys voted in that tells them what to do, thats why they are rude cause they are pissed off they have to do it and maybe cause one of their fellow officers here in the DFW is being laid to rest today.....
