Default What happened at the 249 car meet?

A friend of mine just told me there were a dozen cops blocking every single exit to the meet with about 30 cars inside the parking lot. Everyone get tickets? What are they doing?

I knew they busted it last week and I think the week before but what did the cops say the consequences would be if they went again?

You have to believe cops' warnings. Not like they have anything better to do on a fri/sat night than to bust some street racing. Hope they all didnt get tickets, or worse arrested.

Yep well what I was told was that they had everyone on the ground and wrote tickets at the 249/spring cypress.

As for the other freeway, well it was spring cypress and 290, got pulled up on by two sherrifs, and they told us they will be hitting all the spots, if we want to hang out then go out of harris county and the sherrifs will not mess with you, other wise they will be giving tickets and arresting people. There was a ton of youngsters at the meet at 290, and tons of garabage left over from the youngsters that were drinking beer ect. To bad that it always gets messed up.

Well just have to make it so were only certain people know about it at first, so we can go for a while. Should have some type of person or persons tell people to pick there trash up and be responsible and not act like a moron. That is what happens every time, and why the cops come out. Cause of the select few that act like complete dumb asses

Cool, I hang with a older crowd from motohouston.com and it is all bikes. So you know we wont be trashing things and doing stupid crap. Just looking for a place to hang out. On tue we go to PO's on telge then leave there about 9ish to the car meet.

This has happen before at some of the old meets, and people would clean up. But its not easy for one person to do this. Nor does this stop the jackasses of the groups.

Its just not the same as it once was.
I've only met 2 guys that I've liked on moto, the rest man just isnt my rideing style. They are mostly the same as these other guys messing up the spots.

I'm pretty sure it's illegal to be loitering on the property of a closed business. Mainly to prevent break-ins and such. I wonder what the tickets were written for?

Tickets were probably written for no front plates, no cats, expired registration, acting of teh ghey, and no insurance.
