thats cool man. when i was 14 i would always watch my brother drive his VW corrado it was a nice little car, well one night we went to the park cause he was meeting his gf there, so he leaves me in the car and they go outside, i yelled at him. "ima drive your car!" he says "yeah right you dont know how" so i turned it on took it around the block and prooved him wrong! i did ok too, the car didnt jerk, it didnt stall only when it came time to turn it off i started freaking out cause i didnt know if i had to leave it neutral or in gear or if i should put the parkinig break on. so i learned how to drive standard just be watching him and my uncle in his stang.

sell the lt1 and get yourself a ls1 m6, a guy i work with buys cars at auctions, he said tuesday a 01SS i wanna say 6speed, red with black interrior sold for 3700

Well ****, you deserve and LS1 then. Graduation gift anyone? I learned at 14 to drive stick on a '67 Ford F100 with a BB 352 bored .120 over to a little over 400 cubes. It ran 13.2's with a 3-speed, spool, and 3.90 gears, . I miss that damn truck SO much, I used to roll on people in that thing.

I learned in my uncles old CRX back when I was about 12 or 13. My first standard vehicle was my '98 T/A back in '98 when I was 20.

Nice! I had to learn when I started my first job at an auto-mechanics shop. Knew how the whole process worked from riding dirt bikes before hand, so it wasn't too bad.

congrats dude. And dont worry about learning a little later, the ability to drive a standard is encoded in most male's DNA. So actually you didnt actually learn, you just realized your ability, chicks learn how to drive sticks, not dudes.
