is the rod removable like the pro 5.0 is, or is it fixed? Looks like as if it's one solid rod.

The B&M's have a solid handle so you can not replace it, but the shifter works great and has an awesome feel

its solid, but you can cut about 1/2" of the threads off and have plenty left if it suits you... stock length fits me like a glove, and will probably work for Josh as well (and its about damned time you saw this thread ) ...

Josh if you're buying this, I'm more than happy to offer assistance with the install (if you're not getting it done at work of course...)

Yup yup. The stock shifter is killin me. Not even a hurst! Suppose that makes my CETA that much more rare....no tcs or hurst!

Lookin forward to the shifter and im actually thinking about cuttin that 1/2 inch off.

Also....does anyone know if a C6 Z06 **** will fit?

no, the F-body shifter handle threads are diff from the C5 and C6 shifter handle threads so it wont fit w/o modification....
