What car for prom?
Chicks dig getting into low profile sports cars in nice dresses! lol! Why not look into an Escalade or similar and ask another couple to ride along with you (and maybe split the cost of the rental!)?

A lot of places won't let you rent exotics (unfortunately and wrongly, they consider a corvette an exotic) unless you're 21, no matter how much money you throw at them. But if you find some place to bend the rules, you might be able to negotiate a price on a lambo or ferrari. If it isn't reserved by a couple weeks before your prom, they'll take negotiations. I'd take a drop though. You might be able to find a BMW for cheap. The "Mustnotstang" dropper is always an option. The only problem is, she's from TX, so she might know that Ford is a p.o.s.

How modded is your Z, still have cats and a fairly tame setup? I know the girls I dated in high school would love smelling like gas fumes at dinner and the dance

What I'm saying is that while a car might be cool in your eyes (and mine), your date may be less than thrilled about it...girls dream of this crap for 16+ years, and then you're going to 'ruin' it for her by making her stretch first to slide into a Vette or similar?

For my prom we rented a party bus with a wet bar, LCDs, surround sound, etc. it was big enough to fit like 16 and we had 12 so there was plenty of room. Its good because if the driver is cool you can drink and not worry about driving. It was like 50 bucks each for 6 hours or so. Just a thought.
for my prom we rented a navagator on 24's lol.. it was nice lots off fun, although i wouldhave perfered a ferrari or a lambo! but it cant always be about you lol.. gota think about how comfertable the girl will be.
