Congrats, and don't worry about her parents. A lot of parents are like that, but once they realize they can't change it they will embrace it.

And at 18 I assume your employment status isnt exactly balling just yet so get ready to only think about fbodies! No more mudding in your third gen. Your gonna get a grocery getter with a bigger back seat!

If you can dont let go of your toys though, just make sure that you put your family first and let the car wait.

I cant get my 4 yr old enough to make me happy.

Man scary times but good times! You are young but if you are persistent, then it should work out for you.

Have you told your family yet?

Congrats sir - My Wife and I are looking forward to starting a family up and we're only a few years older, though at this age, a few years is a huge difference. Either way, Good luck to you both

Does your son tell you to race everyone that pulls up next to you like mine? My son wants me to go faster than everyone. I have to calmly tell him no that racing is not safe, while trying to hold back a big smile!

Good luck! Congrats. My brother went through this exact thing and it took a few years, but they did good for themselves and the kids. Plural now lol. Just be honest and everything will turn out ok.

Yep, he sure does, so I just take him to the racetrack and tell him this is the best way to go fast and race others.
