Ever sue the city for busted wheels ?
They are doing contrustion on the highway here expanding it a few lanes. Well there is a part were they expanded on the existing roads and they did a shitty job. So you would be going 70 ( speed limit ) and hit a big *** pothole. Does nt take to many trys to damage wheels that have low pros on them. So I was wondering if anybody had to sue their city to repair their wheels and if so how did you go about it ?

you can def sue the city. as long as you were not going over the speed limit or on a closed road or anything. I know a girl who have like 22's on her car with low pros of course and she hit a pot hole. The city gave her money for two new tires and rims. just callup the city dot.

I always wondered about this too. I figured they would just say somthing like "no. it's your choice to use the roads. Don't use 'em if you if you don't wanna get your **** f@cked up"
Guess i was wrong!

I have thought about this too, first youd probably would start by taking the wheels straight to a wheel shop to get the date/time + confirmation on the damage and an estimate on how much it will cost to fix. I know how bad the roads are, especially in ****** irving, potholes everywhere.

my mother hit a pot hole and bent a rim, she called the city and complained. they told her to take a picture of the pot hole, and the nearest street signs (intersection) she had the tire replaced and a new rim the city picked up the tab and fixed the damn pot hole...

I was about to ask a thread about this. They are completely redoing the road infront of my apts so i have no choice but to use it. They only do contstuction 2 ****** days a week so its been torn up for 2 months. The other day i realized my front rim (chrome 18.5 zo6) was cracked. And im runnin 40 series tires up front. Guess they can pay for it now..
