Default Tube Chassis Recommendations

Simply put.... I need to find a local/semi-local chassis fabrication shop to make a custom project. I would do it myself but I no longer have access to a shop or a frame jig.

SO... any one got any recommendations for a shop that can handle a mid-engine LSx, single seat chassis?

It's going to be a formula-esk design and I need to be able to take the gnine in and out without weakening the chassis. A design that uses the engine as a structure piece will work as well. The design is being laid out but I still need a shop to build it after my drafter is done designing and digitally testing it.

Thanks,

-Rick

Brinks Racecraft in Irving TX, Kim Smith Racecraft in Dallas, TX. Those two are the ones that come off the top of my head that would be willing and able to get the car in and so some stuff with it the quickest.

There is no car. This would be a one-of construction based off a set of blueprints. They would have to use/fab a jig to ensure it is square. Any flaw could cause the vehicle to be incredibly unstable. And considering with the power to weight and gearing this will have. 200+ MPH CAN NOT be unstable to any degree.

All the above builders are excellent choices. The problem you are going to have is most builders wont go off your blueprints due to the liability. The best thing is to drop by a couple of shops and let them look at the blueprints and then a decision could be made.

I expect that and account for any modification done to the design with the exception of the outside tubing. I will need the outer lines to remain the same. It won't be a hard to do.
