Rent a Tire ... anyone use them?
At first when I was told about them... all I could think was "Uhh, that's kind of weird" ... but then after I realized I need to spend money on just other than tires... I got to thinking... if I put a $200ish amount down... I could get reasonable tires that I'd actually appreciate instead of finding the cheapest Z rated tires around ...
anybody have any experiences with them? I don't want wheels, just the tires, but I have a co-worker who bought a set of wheels/tires and is only spending another $800 with I guess a $200 down payment ... all they need is current phone bill, copy of license, social, and some other things that aren't too important ...
Seems somewhat shady, but I've no experience with it, and curious if anyone else did. (sorry, I'm redundant haha)

Yeah, but you have to have good credit for that. Maybe he doesn't?

therefore, I'd rather not pay for those at the moment.
