Anyone think my T/A would look stupid without exhaust tips? Well I wanna go with true dual exhaust on my '96 Trans Am. The only thing that is holding me from doing it (besides money) is that I don't wanna have it without exhaust tips. All together, I have seen like 2 or 3 Trans Am's at San Antonio Raceway whenever Midnight Madness is held, and they don't look that great. I wanna run long tubes headers to and x-pip,e and then to some dynomax bullets and have the exhaust dumped before the rear end. Anyone have any ideas?

A T/A without exhaust tips just looks like somethings missing. I work with a guy that did that to his 00 GT (turndowns) and it looks horrible. Leave the tips just do cutouts. So it still looks good yet it has the sound your after. My buddy did that with his 2000 T/A (Headers/No Cats/Borlas/Cutouts) and it sounded awesome and looked great.

Damn, those T/A's look sick without tips. It looks good cause that one piece is painted black and you can't really notice there isn't tips. Well I guess I'm going with no tips. I like the way that white WS6 looks, thats how my T/A would look if I paint that CETA thing black.

i'm not a fan of T/A's without tips. if you want to dump the exhaust before the axle, maybe there is a way to still mount just tips with a short length of pipe to reach the hanger mounts.

Yeah I always thought that some T/A's would look kinda stupid without the tips but after some of the pics. that some of the guys have posted in this thread, they look pretty badass. I just like the way my exhaust tips, I have the dual/dual setup.
