Default 671/871 Blower for LSx Engines

Anyone seen this.... I like these better than the newer super/turbochargers.

Blower Drive Service is at its best when it is meeting the challenges of manufacturing a new blower kit.

Early testing on our Chevy small block blown (stock 4.8) LS1 engine produced on the Dyno 488 horsepower. Additional tesing using a custom built blown LS1 (6.0) made up to 700 horsepower.

Now available from B.D.S. is the 671 and 871 blower kit for the LS1 engine 4.8,5.4, 5.7, 6.0 and the 7.0 liter. Included is a carb adaptor to run carburetion or you can upgrade to an electronic fuel injection system. This kit is supplied with a fabricated crank hub with dual keyways and is designed to utilize your stock serpentine accessories. This kit also comes with a custom blower intake assembly and back fire valve, it is made to fit the factory or aftermarket LS1 cylinder heads.

Custom kits can be engineered and are available, price is determined per custom application.

Definitely will be popular with the street rod crowd but I doubt it will fit under the cowl of a 4th gen F-Body, LOL. I'd love to see a C6 with one of these sticking out. Talk about shock factor.

seems nice to me. i have always liked the old school blowers better and the look that they give. wanted to put one of these on an LT1, and you couild always cut out a piece on the car haha, but youll need a plexiglass windshield.

This has been out for several years now, but nobody has really done it..
I think I have seen one vehicle with it on it, but it never really took off, like the Magna Charger or STS did
comes out to almost $9,000 once you buy the Blower, and the fuel injsction kit....
