Who/What is the fastest Drag Radial "streetcar" in your hood? Must be known! I would think that Hollywood's TT Viper or that 06 ZO6 Vette on the jug from HPE here in DFW has a reputation. I am sure there are others.

the TT viper is gone RIP but was no where near the fastest street car? i'm not sure about the nitrous'd Z06 but Manny's(HPP TT Cobra) was probably one of the fastest? and like the other dude said define "street car" and what type of racing are talking about? guys who race from a dig and those who raced from a roll? lots of variables in this thread!

Yea, the TT Viper totalled his car a while ago.
Manny's TT car ran a low 10...that is BY FAR, not the fastest!
Don't get me wrong...very nice car indeed, but I know a few 9 sec street cars and a few 8 sec "street cars" that you will find on dfwss.org.

regularly drive on the street..... "streetracing" or getting groceries.... not something that needs race gas, has no stereo, has a solid roller, no A/C (occasionally forgivin such as in the case of SUX2BU) and is running full tires in front and back... no skinnies.
We all know the definition....... it is like playing Limbo though.... everyone wants to fit under the bar when needbe.

Well..... Manny's car was one of the fastest... we are not talking track times here.
Do those DFWSS cars have names? are they known? I am sure there are 50 cars in DFW or Houston that are faster than what we "know".... that is why I said must be known. Meaning a few of us on these boards must actually know the folks.

By far the fastest street car around here is that old black 240z, I watched him beat a gsxr1000 that was stretched, built motor w/cams, and a 75 shot with an excellent rider. I would put my money on his car against any other street car in the state and maybe in the country, it is absolutely indescribable.

maannys tryin to sell the racecar from what i hear...
if your talking about from a roll, ricky or kellys tt viper will own the roll racing around here...1500 hp is hard to beat...both trapping north of 160mph
nbmta is supposed to be done in the next month but from a roll no. it will be one of the better roll AND dig cars around...
scotts z28 will always be one fst dig car ic you hang around the older guys in town...
boostedgt will be running with kelly/ricky BUT can also run VERY fast from a dig
all cars except boosted run d/r...seems to be even better then slicks these days...
if your talking about from a roll, ricky or kellys tt viper will own the roll racing around here...1500 hp is hard to beat...both trapping north of 160mph
