I dont really know much about Ft. Worth, but Houston is better than Dallas....

Of course you will find people that say the opposite.. its really up to personal preference.

The only thing im hearing bad...is the weather. Im originally from the East Coast. (New York) so im used to the cold weather.....and out here in California it varies....its really hot in the summer and really cold in the winter. Job oppurtinities seems to be good, i hear the women are gorgeous and the car/race scene is great. NO complaints.

Welcome to 100 degree days with 100% Humidity. Only July-Sept gets stupid hot, and thats the Houston and further south, not sure how the Humidity is in Ft Worth/Dallas area. rest of the year is great.

We had over 20 days straight of over 100 degree temps... North Texas. This year has been very mild compared to last year.

What area are you moving to? Plano, Dallas, Mckinney, Ft. Worth etc.

Ok not that this is biased but in my honest opinion Ft. Worth and the surrounding area is the place to be. It doesnt matter what you are into, if you cant find it here, youre a retard. The weather will suck. My sister lives outside of LA and when I go visit her its nothing like out here. There is no smog so you dont feel like there is a constant haze in the air. Houston is alright, just way too humid. Ft. Worth has a lot of get togethers. I can name one for each day of the week. The two best in my opinion are Mondays in Dallas with RiceKiller.com and the wednesday night meet off of 360. The people are a lot nicer more polite and actually care about each other as human beings. The bike scene, if youre into that, is pretty big. A lot depends on you, though. If you are out going and want to get out then you will meet a lot of great people. But if you just wanna sit on your *** and expect people to come to you, you might have a hard time.

If you come out you will realize that we are a country in our own right. Thats why Texas is the best.

Im really out going but dont go out much.....(I dont know if that made any sense at all) I guess cause my schedule here is really bad. But I sure love to meet up with different F-body enthusiast like myself. So everything Im hearing is good about Texas....no one has mentioned anything negative but the weather......nice! So if its Hott out there...than that means the women wear less. lol

Thats the nice thing about Houston, beaches not more than a hour away depending on what side of town. And theres always a couple cruises to Galveston each summer.

If you like to go to cool places, go to Houston. Only 2.5 hours to Austin (AWESOME party town... wish I could live there), or to San Antonio (another great town). The only thing close to DFW is, well.... Oklahoma.

I have lived in both Houston and Dallas, and IMO... Houston takes the cake. So much to do there its not even funny.
