I used the Taylor Spiro-pro universal kit. You'll also need the crimp tool and the opti-spark end terminal kit for the coil pack ends. If you order from Thunder they'll probably be there tomorrow with regular shipping.

God whatever you do don't use Taylor wires. Those things are the biggest POS' on the planet. When we got Powells Camaro running like 2 years ago we put it on the dyno and that turd only made like 420 RWHP and we were all a bit confused. We changed the wires to some MSD's and it went up to 460 RWHP. Put the Taylor's back on and sure enough, it dropped back down to 420. F those Taylor wires.
Texas Performance will have universal kits that you can custom make to the lengths you need. Call Mike @ G-Force and he can get some for ya.

Also, do I have to have the crimp tool because I already have a crimper. Does it take a special/specific type of crimp or will a regular crimper work?
Will I have to get those opti-spark terminal kit with the MSD wires? Part number 31193 has these ends:
Male/HEI and Female/Socket
Are either one of those it?

Actually, they were a brand new set of Taylor wires, and the MSD wires were old and used. And, Taylor wires have a reputation for sucking big fat donkey dick.

MSD is far and away the best ignition components manufacturer. If you're performance shop is having problems with MSD products its probably some form of installation error.

Sounds like there may have been a problem with the new Taylors you guys had installed. I've heard of people ripping the boots off, but I'd bet they are yanking on the wire instead of the boot. I've had mine on and off about 8 times now with zero problems.
Drag - The crimp tool isn't like your typical "wire crimpers", it has a special groove that folds the terminal metal over onto itself and compresses the wire nicely. It would be a pain in the ***, and probably not reliable to do it without the special crimpers.

I have ran both and the Taylors were very tough and durable now I didn't go putting an ohm meter on both after a bunch of miles, but my MSD worked great, but I usually do pretty frequent plug changes and the MSD's kept pulling out of the boot had several sets do it on the first plug change with those wires I have had probably 7 sets of taylors and only have had 2 pull apart like that so IMO the Taylors are tougher to pull apart, but no power gains in my case so who knows.
