Default 03-04 Cobra hellion 1600hp twincharged system.

Ill start off by saying this is the wildest thing ive seen in a while. Saw it over on svtperformance. Apparently its going to be hard to tune. turbo restriction @ low rpm .....supercharger restriction @ higher rpm. The test car was an 04 cobra stock besides fuel and clutch upgrades. They said it made 1200rwhp at 45psi, when they tried 65psi the heads lifted .

this kit looks really cool, but beyond that im not sure...

(sorry if this is a repost and to the people who have already seen this)

when it is released people will be able to run under 20lbs on the final kit and the numbers will still be really nice

wow, that is nuts! I can see it now:

"I see your sticker 'got Boost?' - do you have a turbo or a blower?"

"yes!"

"what do you mean?"

"Well, I have both ... actually I liked the turbos so much, I went ahead and slapped two of em on along with the blower".

Somebody tryed this in the late 80's early 90's with a SBC and a B&M roots blower they were trying to tune it with 2 Carbs each turbo supplied 1 carb atop the blower that never worked to my knowlege, but with fuel injection and as easy as the cobra's are to tune I dont think it would be a problem.

The only thing I think they may have a problem with is the supercharger is draw through where the turbo kit is blow through. I'm no tuner so I don't know if it will make that big of a difference.

I can see the blower becoming an inefficient part of the setup, but it will certainly make enough power to entertain people. That is for sure.

Why is the blower an inefficient part of the setup?

Actually on Twin Turbo Dodges the smaller turbo is fed by the bigger turbo. This is almost the exact thing being done here.

ya, since pressurized air is already going into the blower it compounds it, when it made 1200rwhp 1000rwtq the turbos were at 26psi and the engine saw 44psi...and that is with a pulley that makes 8 psi stock
