doesnt he only street tune, doesnt even put the car on the dyno? although he seems to have a good reputation in the area
i could be wrong just asking, unless he charges significantly less and you just want a tune to drive on, for power though take it to a dyno like the other guy said. id figure the white car should be a little faster with the mods you have, being untuned would explain that. good luck with the tune

Good to know, alot of shops dont take the time to do both. where does he tune on the dyno?
My Friend is looking to get his Bolt on SS tuned and is trying to decide on who to go with, make sure to post up how it all goes.

If you have an accurate wideband you can tune on the street and get it real close. Dyno's load the car a lil diff than the street/track.

I'm also looking for a new MAF with screen and my tuner is not Shaner. Garzoni and Lohse recommend a screened MAF as well.

yes, id just rather see that graph to make sure there are no dips and to make sure its smooth, not to mention seeing the number is nice even though its just a number and doesnt mean it will perform well at the track. when my car was tuned they "simulated" street tunning on the dyno but when i got it on the street and put my wideband it was a little rich for my tastes at part throttle so its good to see he does both i guess is what i was saying. i didnt think it would be quite as important to street tune an NA car as apposed to a boosted car, being as they will pick up more boost on the street, but my wideband says other wise

edit: have you tried TRT or SQR they might have an extra MAF

More than likely I'll just order a new MAF down the road, not real concerned with it right now.

MAFs that have had the screens taken out or are ported can be a pain in the *** to tune. It can make all kinds of weird **** happen. It happened to a truck that had a maggy up at GForce the problem ended up being the MAF. Also the CFM difference between having the screen Vs not is not a big enough difference to worry about. Also the screen in the MAF works to channel the air into streams removing turbalance and tumble.
