GF pulled over by Texas Highway Patrol She called me a while ago. She is there for work, we are from Chicago. She got pulled over on 59 between Houston and Victoria. 90 in a 70. Rental car. I thought for sure she would be toast, but he let her off with a warning. How common is that in TX? What is the procedure for a ticket in TX, just a fine? The officer asked if she had a mental condition to make her drive that fast, and he said it took him 8 miles to catch her. That's my girl.

She better go buy a lotto ticket b/c today must be her lucky day. DPS doesn't play around. They're not called Gods Police for no reason..they go by the book 99.99999% of the time, and almost never give out warnings unless they know you personally. Then you usually only get one freebie.

i never seem to have problems with staters... I've received 3 different warnings all for 10-15 over ... i usually just have problems with smaller county sheriffs

She must be cute! lol The locals are the bad ones, they need the money for their county, the stateys dont give a crap, they'd rather get the drug busts or illegals than bs spding tickets.
Warnings you dont have to do anything, tear it up, burn it, wipe ur *** if you please. Just tell her dont let the same cop she her do that again, he wont be so nice!

Yeah, it would depend on the looks of the GF...
My wife can get off no problem... I get pulled over for 67 in the 60 and get a ticket..
My wife gets pulled over 88 in the 60, and the trooper was like, slow it down missy.
