That's nuts. Is the thing like it was off the showroom? or do they consider stock just not touching the engine and being able to do anything else. Ie exhaust, intake, tune,

I see this a lot. Typically they're trying not to get kicked off the track because they don't have a cage and such. If you watch the last run, they usually pick up half a second or so.

The only REAL way to know is to have the car brought to a shop to verify stock! Not saying I don't believe it or do believe it. If you want the record that is what you should be willing to do. There are a lot of badass drivers out there thanks to Forums such as this one.

Maybe I'm missing something because I don't see why its so hard to believe.

It's running just a tad slower mph than my formie did when i first went to the big cubes many years ago. and I was running 10.2's all day long at around 3400lbs, with just bmr sway, and rt rear airbag, and skinnies up front.

 

It should run tens stock it makes 450-460 to the tires J-rod was running 10.60s with this much power with a lot less tq.

 

Torque doesn't matter in drag racing, johnny boy!

 

i would think he HAD to put drag radials on at least!
