Dodge srt-10?

one of my neighbors friends has a red dodge srt-10 and saw my t/a and asked me if I thought I could keep up with his truck ,and of course I said maybe,then went inside.My question is what do yall think,with my mods in sig do you think I have a chance,I dont want to race him and get raped.Have any of you raced a srt-10 before,I know they have 500hp and weight 5000lb.

i think you are thinking irrationaly. i believe you would rape him. is it a stock truck ie: no power adder?

I raced a srt-10 on my way to Ennis.. I think he was headed there also...
We raced from about 50mph roll....... I was also spraying 125 shot of the N2O.
I dont think they are that good... They can run... But I got him..

Have not raced 1 from a dig.... but a roll..

I would say you will get him.... Drivers allways make the difference also.

unless you spin horribly and miss gears then theres nothing to worry about. ran a few of them at hrp when i had a full bolt on lt1 car. and they didnt put up much of a fight. my car ran 13.50 to their 14.4 thats about 10 car lengths on the street from a dig

dont sweat it, you'll kill it. They are a tad slower then a lightning stock, so if you can kill a lightning you can take this truck

my dad has one and for the 50k he payed for it its pretty slow. He will run a 8.9 at the track all day.

I think those things run 14.0s stock with a good driver and good traction...

low 14s truck stock. They actually run better from a roll due to their weight being too heavy to get off the line quickly.

my friend has a stock srt/10,it went 14.3 @ 113.with a sorry as sixty foot.

you should have no trouble since you cant miss a gear,cammed,stalled,etc

WOW. 113!? Thats a hell of a MPH for a stock truck. Now only if they could get out of the hole quicker.

They are slower than a stock Lightning? I raced a slightly modded lightning and put a car on him from a roll.

I highly doubt I could run better than a mid to low 13, and I wouldnt trap anywhere near 113
