got the new ride im picking it up tomorrow after some more paperwork, ill get some pics of it when i do, man i love the car though
got a 2003 Jaguar S-type R supercharged 4.2liter V8, makes 38x hp and 40x tq .... drove it sometoday its pretty dang quick for a 4dr car....
now i need to find a new home for my old LT1 gonna be sad to see it go but ill pick up another ls based vehicle when i finish school

hope yours turns out to be reliable. I knew a couple people who couldn't keep their jags out of the shop. Every car is different though. When I got my grand prix everyone told me it would stay in the shop (unreliable) and it has turned out to be the most reliable car I ever owned! Good luck!!! Super nice car too!
it will defintely be getting some wheels, just not sure what yet, something black and deep dish with a polished lip
yeah i am not to worried about it, it is lower mileage and i wont be doing anything to stupid in it, it felt pretty solid when i drove it around for a while today to, that and it cant be worse than my lt1 was when i got it

Good Looking car! Now you will need a certified Jag tech who can do the routine and the not so routine maintenance. I happen to know one who is Jag Certified-ASE and Jag Silver Certified; Jag trained in Orlando, Florida; 2.5 years experience. If you are interested in not paying $120. an hour and getting it done right let me know.

Im ASE master certified with L1 and jaguar Gold certified ! 2 years away from master jaguar certified....anyways...you might experience the transmission shifting harshly on down shifts comming to a stop... that and the coolant resevoirs always leak!...anyhow good luck with it man!!

My mom had a preFord buyout Jag that was a very good car. The car was 11 years old, 100k miles when she sold it. Up until that point, it performed well. Can't remember what sensor or module went out, but the part alone was 3400 bucks, so she got rid of it.
i dont think im going to have many problems with reliability, im not going to be going ***** to the walls with this car anytime soon, its a DD since i make regular 450miles trips and the 160k mile lt1 was really starting to get to old for that kind of driving, wheels will prolly be the only thing this car gets, and i may try to find the ground effects in the picture i posted at the top
come on just because some cars are in the shop a lot doesnt mean that every car like it are unreliable, if thats the case i would never buy a f-body again, i went through 3 A4 transmissions in a 6 month span because of shitty builds mostly and it was just not very reliable, it took a **** load of work and money to make it a half-way reliable car to drive like it is now
all that matters to me is that like it and it will be a fun car to drive even if its not superfast right now
