anyone lost rocker bearings...where are they!!!

Default anyone lost rocker bearings...where are they!!!

i cant seem to find them.... a while back a rocker broke and the bearing were found ... well like 6 which leaves me to find about 27 more... lol well i drained the oil hoping to find them but i dont have a magnetic drain plug!!! i dont know why but i dont..... so im guessing they should be in the pan... but what do i do in this case.... how do i get them out? ....thx for support...if you need more info let me know thx!

edit...put a speaker to the oil pan and moved it around .... found about 4 needle bearings and this!

bring a speaker...with a big magnet!!! lol....im going to stick under the oil pan and move it towards the drain hole... see what happens!!!

If they are in the bottom of the pan and the engine is not making noise they will not hurt anything. They will stay there and not move from the bottom. They are heavy enough they won't get sucked into the pickup tube screen. IMHO if it's quiet don't sweat it I've had it happen to a couple of my LS motors through the years with no I'll effects.

I also don't think they are big enough to go through the pickup tube screen, even if they do get over by it.

You won't get them all out without pulling the pan. They shouldn't hurt anything though.

cool thx! im pulling the heads anyways today hopefully i can examine the heads closer!

take plug out, get yourself a extend-a magnet, and see if you can get them to the hole and out...
