I played a lot before I joined the Marines. Had a Jackson Kelly with a custom Black/Stained finish. I was a huge Randy Rhoads and Zakk Wylde fan. Don't have an electric anymore, but I still have my Alvarez classical. Maybe one of these days, I stop spending all my money on the car and pick up a Les Paul Custom.

I have a few different guitars.
Gibson flying V
Les Paul
Special edition Sobe Epiphone Les Paul
BC rich mockingbird
Ibanez 6- string acoustic/electric
Fender 12 string acoustic/electric
Yamaha 6 string clasical acoustic/electric
Epiphone bass
Seagull 12 string acoustic/electric

I play through a special edition crate RED voodoo half stack, which is Sammy Hagar's custom amp. I actually got it signed by Sammy in 1999.

That's pretty much it besides a mess of various effect pedals.

I've played more off than on since I was like 8, so I could never really play anything except some really simple riffs (Smoke on the Water, One, Iron Man, etc.) I recently picked it back up about a year and a half ago and I'm pretty good about playing everyday now but there's times I go days without. I enjoy playing songs by Metallica (before Load,) Megadeth, Lamb of God, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Pink Floyd, etc.

I only have one guitar right now, it's my fathers (RIP) old Fender Strat Squire, lacquer black with chrome *****/tremolo bar and rosewood neck. I'm wanting to swap out the pickups, but may just get another guitar all together. I also use a Line 6 Spider III amp with a foot switch.
