Exclamation HELP! My Ws6 freaks out on 1st gear when it rains

First and foremost I wanna thank the ls1techers that might offer some insight into what my problem is and how to fix it.

ok well I drive my trans am on daily basis and since I live in Houston and work 30 miles from home I find my self doing 5-25mph on a weekday basis.
I noticed that for some reason when its raining almost the entire city forgets how drive in the rain so I find my self driving from 0-35mph all the way home. And this is were my problem rears its head, for some odd reason it only occurs when I'm idleling at 0 or going under 15mph in the rain, my car starts to shake kind of like when you are about to run out of gas and the check engine light comes on and off and sometimes stays on, until I drive for about 2 minutes at 15mph or more and then it goes away. I sometimes find self just putting my car in neautral and reving it to keep the Rpms at 2 and so that it doesnt happen. Ok so can someone please suggest a solution or the best place to fix my problem. My car is a 2001 Ram Air A4 with 115,000 miles on it. Please give some knowledge I don't wanna find my self sitting in traffic under pouring rain reving my car next to the old lady who's prolly scared of young hispanics with a pisted look on my face again....lol.

Have you tried scanning it for codes ? If the check engine light came on, it should have one stored and could probably point you in the right direction. What part of town are you in ?

I live in SE Houston but I put in 60 miles a day on my car, so doing some driving to get it fixed shouldn't be a prob.

I have an obd2 scanner you could use, but it would be much easier to just go to an Autozone in your area and have them scan it for you.

i had that issue once, and i had water in one of my o2 sensor harnesses. i have o2 extensions for my LT's... thus hanging lower, and maybe not as good of a seal.

pop off the connector and look for visible signs of moisture. get a can of QD Electronics cleaner at your auto parts store and spray them off good and let them dry. also make sure your o2's arent loose.
