so I'm pissed about gas prices
Went and bought gas today at the QT (quik trip) and had to pay $3.43 for premium so I'm pissed. I was having a good day up until that point. This is ridiculous and I can't stand it. Now, I'm gonna have to hold off on buying some things and doing some things cause I need to allocate more money for gas. Just thought I'd rant a little thanks

before this stars into a rant about getting better mileage, the experience of driving the car is worth more to me than that extra couple hundred dollars a year youd save over driving a corolla
but yes i agree. there was an artice in the new motor trend about chevy creating a new facility with bacteria that create ethanol, basically that e85 would cost $1 a gallon by 2012

A lot more than a couple hundred dollars a year... My GTO averages 17mpg, a corrolla say gets 30mpg... thats 13mpg better, 17 gallon tank = 221 more miles per fill up. Thats more like couple hundred dollars a month. So if my GTO gets 289 miles per tank, that Corolla is getting almost as many miles in one tank as I get in 2 tanks. My gas is $.30 more per gallon. You do the math but its way more than a couple hundred a year extra. Don't get me wrong, I drive a 408ci WS6 and a GTO... But I woudlnt mind a little 4 cylinder beater that has a much lower monthly payment and saves me at the very least $100/month in gas. I'll still have my WS6 in the garage. Damn gas prices have drove me nuts.

I'm not used to filling up on $50 for an ls1 .
Ten years ago $50 would have filled up my 27 Gallon Van.

God i am going to date myself ..... my frist purchase of gas i believe was around .25 per gallon ............ personally i don't see the reason that the oil companys need to make 3 or 4 billion profit per quarter. can we all say greed ... lol
