Click the Performance Trucks tab at the top, there will be tons of sponsors on the right that sell the goods.

Let me know when you put the muffler on it, Id like hear it when DOD kicks in.

For some reason I always get weld in flowmaster 2 chambers on my trucks. Best sounding truck exhaust IMO. I just love that chambered sound. Flow like ****, but I always get compliments on the Z. Same thing on the SS, got a Flowmaster catback for 100 bucks, a set of FLP headers and cutouts. Again flow like **** (why the cutouts are there) but I always get compliments. My 02 z28 had qtp's with a borla adjustable, didn't realy like it, had no tone and was raspy as hell.

The lightning had a maggy catback and it sounded pretty good, probably the other campany I would go with.

Please dont put flowmaster on it. It will sounds like everyone else and their Bubba trucks. Do something different. I would also advise not dumping it. It drums and rattles everything also with kicks up dust. Leave the stock location piping and just weld a new mufller and pipe in. My 2 cents, Josh

magnaflow muffler, with chrome exhaust tip, or the entire catback is nice too but a little pricey

I've got a dynomax on my 4.3 v6, single in, dual out and dumped down right after the muffler.....makes it sound like a v8 IMO. Nice low rumble, not too much.

k members is out and on the way to my dads work so all the stuff can go on the new BMR kmember. motor is complete from top to bottom(vic jr intake, sheetmetal elbow, 6.0 heads, edelbrock rails) now i need to pull all the old fuel line and put the new -8an line in. im gonna assemble the entire thing off the car cause its gonna be hella easier. i got a good amount of work done over the break so back to school holding me back. tranny is gonna hold me back because its gonna be pricey. any way back to your thread.

you are right, flowmaster sounds good but flow like crap plus they drone a whole lot inside the cab, which will have to suck in a brand new truck...

I have always liked this setup and it can be done very cheap,

stock piping, just replace stock muffler with a SLP resonator, you can find them cheap here on LS1tech, believe me it will have that tuff tone like the flowmaster but it will also flow alot better, just dont take off your cats, cause if you do thats when it becomes rediculous loud... i know the slp resonator is small but dont be scared to do it, you will be surprised at how good it sounds...

I have corsa on my 6.0 and it sounds great. But from what it sounds like, that might be a little more $ than you are wanting to spend.
