Default Can a weed eater flicking grass on your car put chips in it??

Well, a couple days ago the lawn people came by and my drivers side door etc had grass all over it. I ended up rinsing it all off yesterday and I noticed some small chips on the side of the door(its not bad, but I noticed it) Can a weed eater do this? there is a patch of soil by where I parked my car (a basketball hoop used to be there). So I thought maybe the weed eater might have thrown up some dirt etc too? I looked on the drivers side of my car to see if maybe it was just road debris or something that might have caused it, but there werent any chips on that side of the car. Has anyone experienced this before?

ya... my roommates dad owns the landscaping company and he said he could get them to fix it through their company insurance. I'd just want to be certain it was them before I were to get it done. There were 2 small chips their prior(maybe it was them too lol, but the rest are new imo. I'm just going to have to park somewhere else on the days that they are supposed to come. Dont want to worry about my car everytime the grass is getting cut

Yeah I was going to say no to the grass, but the rest of the debris it can fling could do it.
