Well after Sat. night incident with my motor taking a massive S**T on the way home from the Hooters meet, I am going to put a forged 377ci iron block in it with AFR heads with about 8:5:1 compression thinking about a frount mount single turbo build instead of a procharger. I don't think its a lifter. Its sounds too loud to be a lifter I really think its a rod bearing. I am going to pull the valve covers next weekend and dig in. I am pretty sure the heads are going to have to come off so I have just decided to pull everything and do an LS1 swap
I am going to have RayMAc build the shortblock for me. I am probably going to do the rest myself. I heard there is a wire harness that connects right in? Also I am wondering how could I keep the factory A/C?
I put this in the Texas section because I was hoping someone from our great state can maybe talk me through this or maybe a sponsor that has done it help me out. Hell I may pay you to do it.
If I get too frustrated.
Thanks to my fellow LS1techers for following me home(MMorrison,Greed4Speed)Everyone on here is like a second family. Any advice will be taken. Thanks . Now all I gotta do is wait for someon to buy my Mazda
I think this would look really good with a LS motor under the hood

its not as hard as you think. i have the wiring down. im just having a couple probs with the actual motor that i bought. like either a bad coil or bad timing kit. Other than that it needs a new slave and ill be ready to go. it does move and drive though, just pops sometimes.
