If you are using a dry kit you are probably maxing out your injectors.

Agreed. There are calculators listed in the fuel and injection forum to determine what size injectors to get. I would assume 42lb injectors would suffice.

To answer the OP question, I think it'd be safe to say it's time to upgrade the fuel pump. You don't wanna worry about the pump everytime you go WOT. It's better to be safe than sorry

Mike will take care of you.

It sounds like you need to upgrade your injectors. I have the same exact motor as you EXACT and I run 42lb injectors.

#1: your injectors are too small for that engine, you need atleast a 46# set. Find an injector calculator and youll see, my 388 almost maxed out my 42#ers.

#2: you need to switch or upgrade that kit to wet, if you wanna run the kit as a wet kit, just get the solenoids and tap into the fuel line before it hits the fuel rail, that way you dont need bigger than above stated injectors. Otherwise youd have to have some injectors probably almost double that size to compensate for different shots im guessing.

#3: 12:1:1 is on the edge of 93 octane. yes with an aluminum head you can get away with it........... that is if you are running an aluminum head, if you arent, get it tuned for 93 but run a higher octane when you can.

here are a couple of fuel injector calculators, you need to enter engine hp and add the hp gain from the nitrous to that to make sure you have enough fuel. IE. 400hp and a 100 shot, do the max of 500hp even though you may not get the full 100 out of the nitrous but if you will be upgrading to a bigger shot in the future then make sure you have a bigger injector or just buy new ones later and sell the current ones you get.
