Can I get an Amen!?!? Since October, I've been helping my buddy Brandon (blackesteyes8696) do an LS1 swap on his 95 Z28. About an hour ago, we finally cranked it up!
Spent most of the time waiting on parts, but we've both put in A LOT of work on it in the past week. First no fuel, then no spark, but now we're golden.
Thank God that's over with, now I can get back to my car

Really the most expensive item was the donor car itself. I only payed $1300 for a solid 98 T/A, not wrecked, and it ran. The essentials nickeled and dimed my *** to death but most of the wait was for suspension parts and exhaust.. And not to forget TIME & MONEY... The entire thing cost me under $3,500 or somewhere around there.. But as far as the wiring, we left the interior wiring alone and just spliced the harness into the LT1 side... Very time consumiong and tedious but with a lil patience it all goes pretty good. Still a few kinks but nothing that cant be fixed..

That wasn't all, my rear end started whining bad and was clunking by the time I exited to check it out at Madisonville. Managed to limp it back home to Palestine, but it look like that's #3 for my broken 10 bolts. Three strikes and you're out, I guess... time for a Moser 9. Now, if I can just crap about $3k... I'll be in good shape.
