like the title says....iv been hearing alot of good things, wanted to see what you guys had to say. thanks

Can you send checks from Fidelity market fund? I have Citi bank and when I opened the rate was %5. I know it is down now

I also have Citi Bank, the interest rate is somewhere right above 4%. Though it might be 4.25 or something, not sure.

Ing direct here. I think there savings rate is around 5%. My savings account usually earns 50-75 bucks a month in FREE money. I had a Bank of America account years ago and it earned $3 per year, woohoo. Ing is the way to go. What more info do yall want?

You must have around $17,000 or so in the account??

As a rule you want to keep 6-12 months of living expenses in a very liquid format. High yield savings account (assume 4-5 percent) is not a bad place to park that cash.
You never know when it may hit the fan and you may need some cash which you can't afford to have locked in a CD or take a hit on the market.

Thats what I thought. In a cd you cant get the money out for a while.
