Default Need Tips Installed But For $60!?!?!

Ok ive been quoted by two shops, one asking 60 the other 75. Im sorry but this is way too freakin high for what they actually do. It's an easy job and theyre obviously ripping people off with these prices. Does anyone know a shop around plano/north dallas that does ti[s for cheap and does a good job. Ive seen people pay 25 and have yet to find the luck to find this kind of shop

Something to think about most all shops have a minimum shop rate. Most cases its around 50 at least.

Three years ago when i was in college at OU i had a full exhaust installed on my nissan/datsun 82zxt from the down pipe out to the rear bumper. I provided the mandrel bends and the shop cut and welded it all together for 100$. If a shop wanted 60$ just to cut and weld two tips on i would go buy a used flux core mig welder for @100$ and do it myself, at least you have a welder to play around with and it pays for itself the next time you need exhaust work done.

How much should it cost to have 3" high flow cats installed?
