Default opinions wanted!!

Well I owe a pay-of balance on my 2000 chevrolet Camaro SS of $7,407.26. the car is great, feels great, has great power and all but I kinda want to move into a Corvette. the only thing i dont like about my car are the looks. It needs a new paint job and will need new tires soon. Ever scince i drove my dads C5 i've been wanting one really bad. should i try and buy a C5? I only pay 375 monthly on my car? I've moved into a different tax bracket now but should I get in a bigger debt?

id pay it off so that you can use it for a trade in rather than add the 7 grand on top of the vette. plus give you more time to save a down payment. imo

nah man if it's already modded and has that many miles... expect minor problems, etc. I would definitely check out the clutch, rear, tranny to make sure they are still in good condition. $20k veh w/ 80kmiles seems alot to me. If you got money to start modding than fix up your SS.. cheaper in the long run IMO

Im thinking of going to something new also since my ride definitely needs a paint job, clutch, new driver seat(torn). I'm not tho since I owe high 5K and it will be paid off in Feb/March 09 ...finally!!!

gl but definitely wait I think..

Paint and Tires are cheaper than the vette. Get a loan, paint the car and put some tires on that thing.

modding the SS is out of the question...its already modded and really fast for a DD, I really dont care for putting a different motor in it, it still has the 346, I just want something fancier with some power

fancy & quick eh????

buy a volkswagon beetle vert and put your ls1 in there

jk... well if your car is fast now for a DD what is done to it?? Doesn't sound like you want your camaro

If you want to get in more debt than go for it.. If u like the vette then "DO IT"

I wouldn't buy a car like that if it meant more debt. Repairs and mods are going to be more $$$.

Look for a stock Vette with lower miles....

Put your camaro back to stock and sell it and put the mods in the stock vette (assuming you have a cam and heads like everyone else)

If you want to do this you need to examine your own financial situation. Payment/Insurance/fuel on a H/C/E Vette is going to be quite pricey. But you are going to do what you want to do.

Do you have any suspension mods? That would make the ride a lot nicer if you upgraded the suspension and stuff.

Nah bro, it's still a F-body. The only time they ride somewhat nice is when they are bonestock.
