Actually, I bet that wing serves a purpose. Often, I see beaters like that full of fat people. So fat that it looks like it's riding on the bump stops. The angle of that wing indicates the driver is trying to generate upforce (or whatever the opposite of downforce is). So, when his car is full of fat people, the wing helps lift the rearend back to its optimal position.

Told you that you should have taken a pic when we were driving through the parking lot of that car with the $5,000 rims (on the $1,500 car) and one donut on the back. That would have dwarfed this one.
