i hate texas weather

I've wondered the same thing. I was there in March (I think), was woken up one night by tornado sirens going off, went outside and felt the temp drop about 40 degrees in 10 minutes, then a day later there was a big snow storm.
When I left, my ex said her car got f'ed up real bad by a hail storm, other cars got broken glass, etc. What do you do if you don't have a garage?
I plan on moving back, this was about 45 minutes west of Ft Worth. Is this normal weather?

i agree.....it's just too damn hot (and humid) here. you can always add more clothing, but there's only so much you can take off......
if/when i ever get around to moving out of TX, i'll probably head up to the Pac. NW, likely WA state.
i can't remember the last time we actually had a winter here, and snow? pfah, forget it.

i've lived in pretty much in the southern states and it's not that bad. FL has rain all the damn time and if your complaining about humidity then don't go there. Guaranteed rain showers at 2-3pm. In Arizona when it rains you mine as well stay home cuz the streets flood. Then u have 110+ deg. temp. I'm glad i haven't lived up north. I hate cold weather.

Back in the early 80's it used to rain at the exact time every day. From the mid 90's up we've been in drought like conditions a lot. Now it just rains whenever, which still isn't often.

I could tell it was odd because people didn't know what the hell to do driving lol.
Before that last time I seen snow was 24 years ago.

very true. didnt realize how bad it was till i came back from my week long trip up to the panhandle of texas. you could actually sit in your car and not drown in the humidity up there. dry hot air w/50 mph gusts > hot humid air
